Health Minister speaks at 2015 AAMRI Annual Dinner
AAMRI was honoured to have Minister for Health, Aged Care and Sport, The Hon Sussan Ley MP, as our keynote speaker for our 2015 Annual Dinner on 11 November, once again held in the Great Hall of Parliament House.
Ms Ley spoke of the opportunities the Medical Research Future Fund (MRFF) will bring our sector, and affirmed her commitment to see the MRFF reach its full capitalisation of $20 billion.
Ms Ley quoted Goethe, saying “Dream no small dreams for they have no power to win the hearts of men”, encouraging our sector to continue to dream big in our search for cures and better treatments of medical conditions.
