AAMRI Carer’s Scholarship
The 2026 AAMRI Carer’s Scholarship pilot supports primary carers by easing financial and practical barriers, helping them access valuable career opportunities.
Building upon the successful program developed and run by Franklin Women, applicants are asked to outline the career opportunity that matters most to them and explain how receiving scholarship funds would help them overcome barriers to taking part due to their caring responsibilities.
Applications for Round 1 are now closed:
All applicants who completed an application will be advised if successful in August 2026.
Applications are open to staff employed at an AAMRI member institute – please see the current list of AAMRI full and affiliate member institutes.
For the 2026 pilot, applications are open to researchers and professional staff. For this year, clinician researchers will not be eligible to apply, but dependent on need, this eligibility may be broadened post the rollout of this pilot.
