Medicines Development for Global Health (MDGH) is a unique not-for-profit pharmaceutical company, whose goal is to make communities affected by neglected diseases healthier, more prosperous and better able to productively engage in society.

This is done by researching, developing and manufacturing new and improved medicines for diseases that disproportionately affect people in low- and middle-income countries. MDGH is expert in regulatory science, medicine development, and support for new medicine implementation programs in low- and middle-income countries.

MDGH is developing two medicines: moxidectin and drovamalist. Together, these two medicines are being investigated in seven different diseases that collectively have a global prevalence of more than a billion cases.

The company’s pipeline is grounded in two inviolable principles:

  1. Sponsored studies are conducted to the exacting standards of the most stringent regulatory authorities (such as the United States Food and Drug Administration)
  2. Commitment to the development of a pipeline to serve the needs of underserved populations who are at risk of these devastating, but treatable, conditions.
